The Ethics department at Amsterdam UMC collaborated with Geriatric Oncology to develop a deeply insightful method which helps practitioners help their patients: what are the most important values to uphold throughout treatment?
We developed an interactive folder, in which patients can write out thoughts and answer questions, as well as a reference card for practitioners so they can support their patients through the process of verbalizing their values.
Below are some of the illustrations I created for the contents. I aimed to make them accessible, easy to understand and empathise with. At the same time they should feel personal and comfortable.
