Fijs
A typographic painting for a boy given an ancestral family name.
Fijs’ parents gave me thematic instructions for the card; his name, passed down generationally, doesn’t strictly have a meaning. Instead we worked with the fact of its age, and the birth flower of his month, and the memory of the saint who rent his cape in two.
