Glaze is a very thick material when applied by brush- it can also be sprayed on or dipped. But it is usually applied to an entire surface, and can be quite a pain to use as ‘paint’. I’ve been experimenting with the options to gain an understanding of how to draw and paint with glaze.

Here are some glaze painting experiments and projects I’ve been working on since 2023. It’s a painstaking process which involves committing and forgiving lots of mistakes. The results are really great when I finally get them right.
